The birth of a collection:
Color & Concept Immersive Rooms
These are examples of immersive rooms I built based on the initial inspiration of each collection.
At the beginning of the design process, I would design this room to contain only samples of garments that were acquired for the purpose of "inspiration". The design process would take place in this immersive space.
At the end of the design process, they would be replaced with our actual collection.
Global buyers would do their selection for each of their stores in these rooms.
Our merchandising team would study these rooms to create the design for the global stores for each season.

(This collection was inspired by the effects of water on clothes washed ashore. . . )

Design Development
Here is my process for designing this collection.
These concept boards serve as examples of finishes, silhouettes, and processes that go into the design of the garments in the collection.
